Prior to the start of the 2012-13 season Mike Condon Jersey , the NHL and NHLPA had to agree on a new CBA. The new one allowed every team to use a pair of compliance buyouts, in which they could get rid of a player's contract without any salary cap penalties. Unfortunately for all 31 teams, there is no way they can use another compliance buyout unless it's included in the next CBA. That is, every single NHL team has at least one player that makes way too much money without actually providing enough value on the ice. Now, some teams have handcuffed themselves with multiple bad contracts (hello Womens Will Butcher Jersey , Los Angeles Kings and Boston Bruins), while others only have that one contract they'd love to get rid of.

Some of these players perform at decently high levels, but they are making just a tad too much. Other guys (we'll get to them later on this list), simply make double or even triple the salary that they actually deserve. That's just life in the NHL: You don't always get what you pay for.

So who is the most overpaid player on every NHL team for the 2017-18 season? Here is a look at all 31 of them.

“Unfortunately Womens Sean Couturier Jersey , he made some bad decisions this past season or whenever he did it. I don’t know exactly when that was. But I still love him. If you’re ever around him, you’ll understand what I mean. There’s not a better team player, a guy who works as much as [anyone].

“But he made he made a mistake, and obviously he’ll pay the consequences for that, and we’ll move on.”
